Mixed media CJ - Witches Almanac

My comfort zone was a dot in the distance with the theme 'Witches Almanac' - Dragonfly Jane's mixed media CJ. After days of no inspiration at all, I decided to go with an all occasion spell - courtesy of William Shakespeare.

I covered the chipboard page with bandage left over from when Brian cut the end off his thumb a couple of weeks ago - wove the strips together and stuck down with Mod Podge, then painted with a pewter acrylic paint from Blonde Moments. The added some vellum, fibre and a couple of hand-drawn bats, one made with shrink plastic.

Not very imaginative but witches are really not my thing. Really wondering if mixed media is either, but I have ten more to come in this CJ :D
